ESP32 Dev Kit V1 is a development module based on the ESP32 and has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. The CP2102 USB to serial converter makes programming easy, even like an Arduino board. The module has a micro USB connection that allows programming and/or power supply (micro USB cable not included). This module is equipped with the ESP32 chip with 4 MB flash memory.
Features :
- ESP32 chip with 512 KB RAM (240 MHz dual-core processor)
- Up to 23 digital pins
- Up to 12 analog pins
- Two analog outputs (DAC) (pin 25 DAC1 and pin 26 DAC2)
- 1x SPI, 1x I2C, 1x UART (TX/RX)
- Integrated voltage regulator for input voltage (5-12V on Vin pin)
- For pin diagram, see images (Note: pin diagram may differ from other ESP32 boards!)
- Dimensions: 52 x 28 mm x 7 mm (without connectors) (note: does not fit a standard breadboard!)
If you want to use the board as an Arduino, start here. After installation, you can select the “DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1” board.
The module pins are directly connected to the ESP32 chip and are therefore only suitable for 3.3V signals.
Drivers can be found here: CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Drivers.
Note: An external power supply can only be connected to the Vin pin if USB is not connected.
